Itís not too late to sign up to donate and/or serve at our Thanksgiving Day Dinner. We are still in need of all of the traditional Thanksgiving Day dinner items such as: turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, gravy, dinner rolls, vegetables, corn, mashed potatoes, yams, salads, and bottled water. We also need servers, food preparers, greeters, and people to help clean up afterwards. Dinner will be served from 12 - 4 p.m. However, those of you who volunteer to help prepare and serve, please plan to be here by 10 a.m. If you are donating food, please make sure that if you are donating food that must be cooked, it is fully cooked and hot when you deliver it, as our means of reheating food here is limited. Food items must be delivered no later than 11:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day in throw away containers. If you plan to volunteer to clean up, please plan on staying after the dinner for at least an hour. If you have questions, or want to RSVP for the dinner, please call Brother Kerry at 513-578-7789. - Church Heaters Needed
Presently the only areas in the building that have heat are the Fellowship Hall and the Sanctuary. Ensuring that our entire building is heated and cooled in an energy efficient manner will take a major time and financial commitment. In the meantime, while we work to complete this project, we must provide a temporary means of heating the main floor and the basement. We are in need of 40 ceiling mounted heaters. These heaters regularly retail for $732 each. We can acquire them at a 50% discounted rate. This will equal a cost of $376 per heater. Your generous donation to help fund this heating project is very much appreciated.
