  • Congrats to the New Members!

    We Thank God for adding 32 New Members to our family of Faith in the month of June. 14 - have come as Candidates for Baptism, 10 - have come under their Christian Experience and 8 - have come to Restore their Membership.

    What a joy to receive, believe and grow through Godís Word. Help welcome these new members, our job is to love on them, and pray God will keep us all growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.


  • Education Student Survey
    The Ministry of Academic and Family Education requests your help. Please complete the following Educational Student Survey to better serve the students and families of New Prospect Baptist Church and the community.     The Cincinnati Pride Grant provides financial aid assistance for Cincinnati Public School graudates, in partnership with the University of Cincinnati. Click here to view the Cincinnati Pride Grant Fact Sheet.

  • NPBC Ministry Hours of Operation
    Church closes at 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Sunday - the church will be locked at 2:30 p.m. unless there is a scheduled afternoon program. All persons and ministries are asked to exit the building by times indicated. Please schedule your time accordingly. Your cooperation is appreciated.

  • Cincinnati Mission Board District Presents - Annual Session:
    July 14th - July 18th at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church at 3212 Plainfield Road in Cincinnati, OH 45236. Pastor Donald Jones will be the moderator for the nightly sessions held from 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. For more information, see Sis. Allen.

  • Achievement
    Our own Brother John Singletary will be honored at the Cincinnati NAACP Freedom Fund Dinner on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 7 p.m. Please see Sister Singletary if you would like to attend. It will be held at The Horseshoe Casino; tickets are $75.

  • Recruiting Bengal Volunteers
    Volunteers are needed for the 2014 Bengal Season! Please call the church office at 513-721-2355 if you are interested.

  • Crosstown Basketball Shootout
    Recruiting Men: ages 30 and older, Boys: 12 - 15, Women: ages 20 and older. Pick up applications at the Welcome Center. Practice is held on Thursdays between 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. in the NPBC Gym. Join us!

  • Special Call for Ladies Ages 20 & Over
    We need you to form our women's basketball team. New Jerusalem and Mt. Zion have teams; let's not allow them to show us up. Come on ladies, sign up!

  • Cheer for the Home Team
    Crosstown Basketball Shootout games will be held in the Condon School Gym on Saturday, August 16th and Saturday, August 23rd. Game times will be announced at a later date.

  • Opportunity to Serve
    The purpose of serving in church is not merely to serve people. Our purpose, first and foremost, is to serve God.

    Your spiritual gifts, talents and unique personality are needed to create a worship environment where everyone can experience God. We have many roles and each one is important and necessary. We invite you to join the following Frontline Ministries: Usher, Greeter, Hospitality, Parking, Nursery, Sound/AV, Congregational Care Intake Coordinator or First Time Visitor Connection Team.

  • Media Ministry Team Welcome
    Are you interested in the big screen? Are you interested in quality sound? If this sounds like you, volunteer for the Media Ministry. Please see Brother Daryl Lee in the sound booth to fill out an interest card or sign up by calling the church office at 513-721-2355.

  • An invitation to Ministry
    Do you have a desire to always make people feel welcome? There is nothing more welcoming to visitors and newcomers than a happy, smiling person at the front door greeting people as they enter to worship in God's house. The role of the Greeter is to welcome everyone into our midst, whether members, family or friends. Greeters are the FIRST impression visitors have of our congregation and our ministries. If you have this desire, you are invited to join this ministry.

  • Travel with New Prospect to London & Paris
    Due to overwhelming demand, additional seats have been added to the London/Paris tour. We now have 25 additional seats. The seats are being offered on a first-come basis. A deposit of $250 is required a.s.a.p. to hold your space. If you are still interested in traveling with New Prospect to London/Paris in June 2015, please contact Yvonne Allen-Smith or Annise Anderson by calling the church office at 513-721-2355.

  • Romans 8:1 Ministry
    Do you think God is mad at you? Do you think you've done something that you can't return from? Do you think your sin is so bad God can't forgive you? Romans 8:1 meets every 2nd Saturday to help you realize God is not mad at you!

  • New Prospect Male Chorus
    All males interested in being part of The Male Chorus of New Prospect come out and rehearse on Mondays at 7:30 p.m.

  • Men's Ministry - B.A.M.
    B.A.M. meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. All men are invited to be an active member of the Men's ministry.

  • Got Prayer? Need Prayer?
    There is POWER in PRAYER! Every Monday at 6 p.m. we come together to pray, strongholds destroyed and share praise reports! Come on out and witness the mighty works of our Father.

  • Bible Study
    Looking to be fed for spiritual growth? Attend Bible Study Wednesdays at 12 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.

  • Tutoring
    The Ministry of Academic and Family Education is in need of volunteer tutors for all subject areas; i.e., history, reading, math, science, etc. If you are interested, and available to tutor, please call the church office and leave your name, telephone number, days available and subject that you are interested in tutoring.

  • In Reach/Out Reach
    Congregational Care wants to reach out to our members who have been away from church. If you are aware of a member who has been away, please contact the church office with information.

  • Ink Cartridges
    Do you have empty ink catridges? Bring them to New Prospect. We can recycle them and get paid for them. Please place them in the box in the Fellowship Hall or give them to an usher.

  • Looking for Job Opportunities?
    Check out the Job bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall. If you are a hiring manager, or know of employment opportunities, please contact the church office with information.
