Our community is currently facing very difficult financial circumstances, and many are unable to provide for the needs of their families. New Prospect Baptist Church desires to help these families in our own community, so we established the New Prospect Baptist Church Food Pantry in 2010.
The Food Pantry has been able to help many hundreds of families since it opened. . The number of families to which New Prospect is providing food is growing as other food banks in the area have had to turn away families for lack of food supply
The Church has placed collection barrels all around the church, and church members and other ministries continue to bring in donations of food. Unfortunately, it is not enough to cover the growing need of those who are having difficulty affording food. Please help us serve our community by bringing a food item with you each time you come to church and drop it in a food barrel. Thank you!
Our New Prospect Food Pantry has already helped hundreds of families in our community. But we can’t continue to do it without you! If you’re interested in donating, you can shop, and then drop the items off in the food barrels on the weekend.
The Food Pantry is open for everyone.
Food is available once a month per household.
We visit New Prospect Baptist Church members who are in nursing homes. Prepare food for bereaved families; give helping hands, monetary, clothing or whatever is needed.

The Prison Ministry actively serves God through prayer and by spreading the gospel message of Jesus Christ to adult and juvenile detainees. Focusing on obedience to God’s word, the Ministry disciplines, teaches and addresses the spiritual, personal and social needs of the incarcerated and their families. The ministry assists the Pastor and the church in outreach efforts to: exhort God’s word; equip and restore the lost; convert the sinner; and, convict the saint by encouraging and enlightening the incarcerated and their families.
